This application will run on any WebGL supported browser, WebGL is a technique that enables 3D graphics within the browser without the use of plugins. WebGL is enabled by default in Chrome 9 Beta, Chrome 9 Dev Channel, Chrome Canary Build and Firefox 4 beta.

Google Body Browser uses HTML5 technology to let you examine the human body in fully layered, 3D detail.

Chrome OS is basically an operating system based around the Google Chrome web browser. It’s designed to surf the web and run web apps rather than native apps although users will be able to run some web apps such as Google Docs even when there’s no Internet connection available.The lightweight Chrome runs on both x86 (Intel Pentium and Atom Family) as well as ARM chip architectures, which means it can support desktops and laptops.
Sundar Pichai, Vice President for product management at Google Inc said, “Chrome OS, currently in test version, is essentially a free software but it will only be available with the new device being shipped by our partners like Samsung & Acer. We are working with multiple OEMs to bring number of netbooks to market next year”
Pankaj Arora, MD of Protiviti Consulting, said “Google Chrome is bound to bring down PC prices, given that it will be open source and will not have associated licensing fees but it will be interesting to watch how easy it will be for Google to convince manufacturers to move away from Microsoft and produce Chrome OS netbooks”
Microsoft controls over 90% of the world’s market and 98% of India’s operating system market.
Tech analysts feel that Chrome OS, which is aimed at netbooks, might lose out if tablet PCs swamp netbook market.

YouTube with the four content partners: Howcast, Next New Networks, Rocketboom and Young Hollywood, test platform will be live in the next 2 days, starting at 8:00 a.m. PT. you can find the neatly embedded schedule of programming below.

This will put the service in direct competition with the Ustream, Justin.tv, and Livestream. Youtube previously covered a live stream of a U2 concert and Indian Premier League cricket matches but this is the first move towards making live streaming part of their service.

Google India today announced an agreement with the Indian Premier League and its licensing partner Global Cricket Ventures that will enable it to stream all the action from latest season on a dedicated IPL channel on YouTube at www.youtube.com/ipl with a five minute delay across the world, except in the USA, which will have re-broadcast options as the TV rights have been sold to tv channel.

This will be the first such deal in the cricket world, though in 2008 the International Olympic Committee had hosted highlights of the Beijing Games in countries that didn’t receive any telecast.

This changes the world of sports broadcasting
