Make a precis of the following passage and give a suitable title to it.
The Internet revolution and e-commerce particularly have in an era of mass customisation. Thus, never before has customer service been so important as in this era. several facotrs have led to this mass customisation, the biggest change brought about by the Net.
The customer not only have the information on products and prices but also on the latest trends, competition, changing laws and government policies. This naturally makes them more aware and alert, reducing chances of their being dupes or cheated by businessmen.
However, as the use of Net evolves in the country, the buying habits, too, are bound to change. E-commerce markets will hold out possibilities which may seem unthinkable at present. Also let’s not forget that e-commerce is not about Net shopping alone. It includes a wide range of activities like stock and bond transactions, renting of properties an auctions etc.
Internet is also being used in India for online trading, HDFC Securities Ltd, has recently launched its brokerage services for retail investors. Online trading gives complete control of the transaction to the individual in terms of the price, depth of the market, execution rates and so on. It also provides the liberty of carrying out transactions any time and anywhere.
With every passing day, more and more utilities of Internet are coming to the nad Indians are making valuable contribution in the field of information technology of which internet is a valuable part.
Let us hope, with the availability of a vast amount of knowledge and rapid interaction via the net, Indian and the world citizens emerge more knowledgeable persons and the world becomes a better place to live in.
